Wondering if anyone within x-cake has considered sharing sales stats amongst members.

I did a few apps based on location based gaming, when I moved them to free I saw alot of downloads in a couple of weeks (around 1500 downloads in 2 weeks). Before that had poor figures. First bunch of apps, see www.irulegames.com ,  were just to try out the iOS stuff so not too bothered.

But now I am very close to submitting a new app for the productivity category and after time put into it hoping for some sort of sales.  With time dev takes up it'd be hard to try again with another app after this.  I do strongly believe in the new app I am making and hope people see the point to it. Just wondering are others feeling their efforts rewarded within the app store.

I've done 4 apps, the first is the hardest, learning objective c and xcode, I charge for all of them but would be lucky to get 100 downloads a week, which even over a year would not pay me the hours spent in development, but I wanted to learn iOS, and can write apps a lot quicker now. Giving them away for free is an idea, just to get your work out I guess, for free I bet you would get 10 fold downloads. I might actually set all mine to free come to think.
