So how does one get an iPad in April without flying to new york ? I really would like one to test out my app on. It would be really great if we had one or two that could be part of a device pool, and that different developers could use to test their apps on. Is anyone going to New York with a big suitcase and lot's of credit cards? Probably a dangerous proposition!See More

There is quite an active IRC channel, #iphonedev on irc.freenode.net
and the mavens in there seem to all concur that the Stanford cs293 online course videos (available on iTunesU) are excellent. So I'm planning to watch a few hours of those over the coming week(s).
