"John, if you decide to change your profile from individual to a company later down the line, it is fairly painless. I did it myself a few months ago and all I had to do was send Apple the cert. of incorporation and it was done in a few days."

Registering as an iPhone Dev - individual vs company

Hi all,Just wondering if there's anyone with experience who can answer this question. I'm a sole trader in Ireland with the relevant tax registration. I'm reserving a business name through the CRO this week. I'd like to reg with apple as a developer but don't know whether to go for "individual" or "company". Ideally I want to use my company name as the "publisher" of any apps I develop. Cocoa Touch dev books...

** newbie disclaimer **I'm new to the group, and to iPhone/iPod dev. I don't know how many are in the same position, but it would be great if a list of books were available, as reviewed/recommended by more experienced devs, to help kick-start those of us on the bottom of the ladder.Does x-cake maintain something like this? If not how's about posting here for a start?Just an idea, hope to make it to a meetup in the near future.J.See More
