Event Description

We're going to try something a little different this month!

The idea is to create a community-built app that ties in with the Apps.ie website. Sort of like an App Store, but for Xcake/Apps.ie apps only.

Everyone is welcome to come along, whether you're an absolute beginner, or an Xcode pro.

It'll be the perfect opportunity to get familiar with the iPhone SDK and the Xcode development tools.

If you're coming along and want to join in, please bring along your MacBook with the latest iPhone SDK installed. You can download the latest SDK for free from http://developer.apple.com/iphone.

We'll be starting a 6pm sharp, so try to arrive early so that we can get everyone hooked up with WiFi access.

If you're not interested in coding, feel free to pop in for a chat anyway.

P.S. Rumour has it there'll be pizza... :)

It seems like there's a lot of interest in the workshop. Maybe a Q&A session/tutorial session might be better? What do you guys think?

I've no MacBook or MacBook pro though , only an iMac so I'm not certain how productive it might be for me to come along without a development machine to work on.
